SAN FRANCISCO, October 15, 2024 - The YMCA of Greater San Francisco has appointed Kathryn Inglin as its new Vice President of Marketing & Communications. A fourth-generation San Franciscan, with 25 years of experience in marketing, communications and brand strategy, Inglin brings deep expertise and passion for creating healthier communities and broadening organizational impact.

Jamie Bruning-Miles, CEO of YMCA of Greater San Francisco, noted, "Kathryn's impressive and innovative approaches to connecting with diverse audiences will be instrumental to expanding YSF’s reach and deepening our impact to nurture healthier, vibrant communities, where anyone can ‘Be, Belong and Become.’ Together, Kathryn and her team will help build, communicate and demonstrate our brand promise of being a vital resource for wellness, inclusivity and personal growth in the Bay Area.”

An active member of the Bay Area business and philanthropic community, Inglin has dedicated her career to mission-driven organizations. “I am honored to assume this position with strong relationships in place and first-hand knowledge of the YMCA’s power to improve lives,” Inglin said. “Through personal experience, I understand the importance of a wellness ecosystem, one that is welcoming and supportive of everyone. I am honored and excited to join the YMCA of Greater San Francisco as we champion engagement and action to ensure everyone can be their authentic self, belong to something greater, and become the best version of themselves.”
