About the Job
The Active Adult Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the development, organization and implementation of programs that focus on Healthy Living and Social Responsibility for members of the Stonestown community ages 60 and older and age 18 and older with disabilities. This position will ensure that these innovative programs are delivered by staff, volunteers and partners who are trained in providing high quality programming. As a community programs provider, the Active Adult Engagement Coordinator will assist their supervisor to maintain and build collaborative relationships with community organizations to run effective and meaningful programs to the community we serve.
The position supervises 1 FT staff, volunteers, independent contractors and works full-time, 40 hours per week and in-person, split between administrative and direct service responsibilities.
Salary range: $22.10 to $28.00 per hour
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be available Monday-Friday during business hours
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Office 365 suite
- Strong interpersonal and customer service/phone etiquette skills
- Current YMCA-approved CPR and First Aid certification
- Elder abuse prevention training
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce suite
- Bilingual skills in English and Cantonese/Mandarin
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Experience working with Seniors and/ or Adults with Disabilities
- Customer Service Experience
- Y-USA Team Leader Certification
