For more than 160 years, the Y has been a force for good in our region, providing safe, stable, supportive places for children and our neighbors. This longevity is only possible through decades of philanthropy and support, with each generation giving to ensure that the Y will be there for their families – when their children reach old age and their grandchildren have families of their own.

There is no better way to support the longevity of the organization than through a thoughtful planned gift.  Leaving a gift for the Y in your will or as a beneficiary of your estate often allows individuals to give larger, sustaining gifts that are not always possible during your lifetime. These gifts allows us to plan more effectively for our future, address the instability of annual fundraising, and ensure that our facilities and programs are sustainable well into the future.

As you make plans for what kind of legacy you plan to leave, we hope you will consider the YMCA of Greater San Francisco.
