About the Job

Under the supervision of the YEF Coordinator, the YEF Community Funders will be responsible for the review and disbursement of the YEF Mini-Grant funds for the School-Year, Spring and Summer cycles. YEF Community Funders will read & score mini-grant applications, interview applicants and use a consensus model to make funding decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Under 18 years of age
  • Currently in high school or high school equivalent program.
  • Live and/or go to school in San Francisco, California.
  • Able to obtain a work permit
  • Available Mondays, Wednesdays and some Saturdays to attend work in person.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous participation in teams and/or groups with other youth
  • Strong communication skills
