About the Job
Under the supervision of the YEF Coordinator, the YEF Community Funders will be responsible for the review and disbursement of the YEF Mini-Grant funds for the School-Year, Spring and Summer cycles. YEF Community Funders will read & score mini-grant applications, interview applicants and use a consensus model to make funding decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Under 18 years of age
- Currently in high school or high school equivalent program.
- Live and/or go to school in San Francisco, California.
- Able to obtain a work permit
- Available Mondays, Wednesdays and some Saturdays to attend work in person.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous participation in teams and/or groups with other youth
- Strong communication skills
