Caitlin comes to the YMCA with two decades of experience working in public education; stewarding schools and districts to achieve by designing systems through the lens of equity and access for all. Caitlin is motivated by YMCA of SF's position at the intersection of community development, youth engagement and wellness.

Susanna King

Senior Director of Healthy Living

Susanna brings a wealth of health and nutrition knowledge to our team. Susanna leads multiple group exercise classes weekly, so please join her in our studios for a fun and challenging workout. She is motivated by those around her and enjoys helping others reach their goals, test their abilities, and find success. Susanna and her team create a positive environment where our community can learn, share, and grow together.

Shiante Lewis

Shiante, born and raised in the Bay Area, has worked with the Embarcadero’s Community Programs since 2009. Focusing her efforts on Youth Deployment and Out-of-School time initiatives, has shown Shiante’s passion and dedication to the youth and families within the communities we currently work with. Shiante is currently the Site Director for our Treasure Island Location, as well as, the point person for all things Traditional Camp! In her current position, Shiante hopes that her experience provides an in-depth perspective to the strengths and needs of those she serves.

Laura Grace ("LG") is a California native making her return to the West Coast after a decade fundraising in Washington, DC. She looks to further the mission of the YMCA of San Francisco by embracing caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in every interaction.

Deanna Pinkston

Associate Director of Wellness

Deanna is an ACE certified personal trainer and is also a certified instructor in Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, BOSU Balance training, and Studio Cycling. Since 2010, Deanna has been teaching and training with an emphasis on healthy biomechanics and functional movement. 

Deanna is passionate about helping people create positive change in their lives through self-compassion, physical fitness and positive thinking.

Zach is passionate about fostering personal development within the YMCA SF community. With a background in community engagement and program management, Zach is committed to creating inclusive and empowering environments for our members. His strategic approach to membership experience aligns seamlessly with the YMCA's mission, embodying values of development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
