Urban Services Staff Shadow Program

In an effort to better prepare staff for future advancement opportunities both within Urban Services YMCA, and the larger YMCA of San Francisco, the Urban Services Management team has devised a job shadowing program. Participants will spend one day a month for approximately 9 months meeting with staff leaders to learn more about the basic duties and requirements of their jobs. “Presenters” will include the Executive Director, School Based Leaders, Director of Mental Health Services, the Associate Executive Director, Director of Development, HR Director, Truancy Director, Mentoring Director, and the Beacon Director.

To qualify for this program, applicants must have a minimum of one year employment at Urban Services YMCA plus the recommendation of their site supervisor. Approximately 10 staff will be selected in the pilot year. We the leadership team believe that future leadership of Urban Services is in place. If you are interested in applying please click here.
