CARE provides individualized support services for truant youth who have not enjoyed success in a traditional public school setting. Students attending this program can re-acclimate themselves to the academic experience and develop resiliency life skills, while earning credits toward eventual graduation. Through our partnerships with San Francisco Unified School District and Five Keys Charter High Schools, we are also able to offer eligible students the opportunity to get back on track to earn a high school diploma or GED. Additional services include student advocacy, career exploration, case management, and information and referrals for additional support.

Since its inception in 2008, CARE has supported high school completion for more than 415 high school drop outs.

75% of youth that come through the door successfully transition back to high school with a Map to Graduation. That’s close to 879 youth in total!
