Camp Jones Gulch |

The Chinatown YMCA Camping Program offers two major outdoor adventures each summer. Resident Camp is a week-long, overnight, co-ed camp for youths and teens set in the great outdoors of the Mount Lassen National Forest.

Resident Camp is made up of two components, Boy’s & Girls Camp and LIT. Campers will learn outdoor skills, as well as learn about teamwork and character development. Participants are grouped together according to age. All staff are volunteers trained in CPR, first aid, YMCA safety procedures, group management and youth development.  Resident camp also offers values education to all campers through the YMCA Raggers Program, an internationally recognized program that encourages growth through truth, hard work and commitment to one’s self, family and community.

For more than 70 years, the Chinatown YMCA has been bringing youth to the mountains of California to share and enjoy the great outdoors. Join us for another wonderful summer experience.
