Volunteer!

The Stonestown Family YMCA has an active volunteer program. Throughout the year, over 420 dedicated volunteers give of their time and talents to the Stonestown Family YMCA. It is the commitment of these generous individuals that change the lives of people in our community, one at a time. At the YMCA, your time and talent go a long way. Every hour spent as a YMCA volunteer brings special attention to a child, a teen or an adult. Volunteering supports individuals so that they can be healthier and stronger. Whether instructing an aerobics class, coaching a youth sports league or serving a hot lunch to a senior, the attention given has lasting and positive results.

As member-volunteers with a mission to provide leadership and support to our fund raising efforts, our Ambassadors hope that you will join in our efforts and know that your presence helps support our young children, our energetic youth, and our fantastic seniors. Together we will form relationships and networks that will develop member-volunteers to support the Total Health program. It is our goal to have our volunteers play a leadership role in raising funds for the YMCA and provide support and leadership for our programs.
