Stonestown Family YMCA offers licensed After School programs at
three
schools in our service area:

These
licensed facilities are run by staff well-versed in Early Childhood
Education, CPR and First Aid. We offer nutritious snacks everyday,
as well as tutoring, arts and crafts, group games, values building,
field trips and community service projects. Our ratio of staff to children is
1 to 12. We are open every school day until 6:30PM.
We offer three attendance options:
5 days a week, 3 days a week and 2 days a week.
A once-a-year program membership fee of $50 is required for your child to participate.
A two-week deposit is required at the time of enrollment. The deposit covers the last two weeks of the program.

YMCA Preschool
Preschool Registration is CLOSED for our
2009-2010 School Year.
If you are interested in being placed on our "Interested Families" list, contact Emily Formosa at eformosa@ymcasf.org. Please include your name, contact number, your child's name and birthdate.

We offer year-round programming with both school year and summer preschool programming options. All of our programs meet stringent standards of excellence. Our preschool site is licensed by the State of California Community Care Licensing through the Department of Social Services and has received accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
We strive for greatness to provide your child with a safe, fun environment in which to learn and grow. Our staff are trained both in Early Childhood Education as well as in the Youth Development philosophy of the YMCA, and are ready to provide your child with the foundation needed for a successful school career!

Child Watch

Baby-sitting services are available for children (ages 12 weeks through 10
years) of adults participating in programs at this YMCA. Parent must remain on the premises. The maximum number of hours per day for children age 12 weeks to 15 months is 1-1/2 hour, and for children 15 months and older, 2 hours. Members may visit Child Watch only once per day. Payment for ChildWatch is handled at the Membership Services (front) counter.

Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00am-1:30pm & 4:00-7:30pm
Saturday & Sunday: 8:30am-12:30pm
Child Watch is closed on most holidays. Please check our branch brochure for
upcoming closures.
Staff-Child Ratio
We maintain a 1:4 staff-child ratio for children over 18 months of age. For infants the ratio is 1:1. Child Watch capacity varies according to needs of the room.

* Obtain a membership card at the Membership Services counter.

Reservations
In order to provide a safe, caring environment, we accept children on a
first-come, first-served basis for children 15 months of age and older. Reservations are
REQUIRED for infants 8 weeks to 15 months. Reservations are taken up to one
day notice prior to reservation. We require a courtesy call for cancellations.

Cancellations
Members not giving at least one hour notice for cancelling a reservation, or members who do not show up as scheduled, will be charged a penalty (see Parent Handbook). This fee must be paid in Child Watch prior to making future reservations.
