Jarret Cooper has over 20 years of martial arts experience, including karate, tai chi, and aikido.  He is a 4th degree black belt in Shorinji-Ryu karate.  Jarret also teaches at the Kaikan Dojo in San Francisco.

Film Series for Adults with Short Lectures

Free for 6 weeks, $10 Program members

Wednesdays from June 17-July 22, 2009, 6:30 – 9 pm

 6 famous movies by 6 famous directors.  HEROS: What makes a hero?  What do they do? Why do they do it?  What do they get?  Find out.  We hope to see you there!  Please register at the front desk.  This series is suitable for mature members 18 and older who are comfortable reading subtitles.

The instructor, Michael Howard, is a retired college teacher of Film at SF State and USF.
