Nickels for Non-Profits
The Peninsula Family YMCA Youth Wellness Center has been selected to be part of the San Mateo Whole Foods Market's Nickels for Non-Profits Program. San Mateo Whole Foods Market chooses three non-profit organizations every month to be part of this program: when customers bring in their own bags for groceries to the San Mateo Whole Food Market they have the option of receiving a five cent credit (per bag); alternatively, they can donate the five cents to one of the selected non-profit organization. If you shop at the San Mateo Whole Foods Market and use your own bags, please consider donating your nickels to help provide a place and opportunity for youth to learn about health and the importance of exercise.
