Just 4 Girls
This is a mentoring program serving teenage girls in leadership development, college preparation, career opportunities, health issues, values clarification and self-confidence building. Participants are encouraged to share in community-related activities and volunteering. Teen girls in this community have few venues where they can develop a strong sense of leadership, so it is our goal to foster a safe and fun learning environment where these girls build self esteem and prepare for academic and professional opportunities.
This program meets during the regular school year, Monday - Friday, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and occasionally on weekends.
The Fellas
The Boys Program provides mentoring and life-skills building to middle school boys in Bayview Hunter's Point. This program targets at-risk middle-school boys and encourages leadership development, academic performance, self confidence and successful transition into high school in all those we service.
This program meets 5 days per week during the regular school year from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
